In Ghana, “Akwaaba” means welcome. At the polling station, however, both fingers and stamps also have their own roles to play. According to the voting procedures published by the Electoral Commission of Ghana, ballot papers need to carry a validating stamp before being issued to voters. Voters then enter the voting booth and use a thumbprint to mark their choice. Because thumbprinting has a practical role in the local voting process, our long-term partner in Ghana once again customized a batch of Election Fingerprint Ink Pads with us.

This ink pad features a rectangular metal hinged case. The sturdy outer case is easy to open and close, helping protect the ink pad inside while also making it convenient to carry and reuse. The large ink-absorbing pad provides enough contact area, so the thumb does not need to be positioned precisely on a small spot. With a light press, the fingertip can make full contact with the ink surface and produce a relatively clear and complete fingerprint on paper. In addition to thumbprint marking, it can also be used as a practical stamp ink pad. When paired with suitable ink and stamps, it can be used with common rubber stamps, making it suitable for both fingerprint impressions and stamp applications. The lid can also be customized with logos, text, and colors. A protective film is placed over the ink pad to help keep it clean during transportation and storage.

A durable metal case, large ink surface, easy thumbprint application, compatibility with both fingerprints and stamps, and customizable appearance are the most direct advantages of this product. We appreciate the continued trust of our long-term Ghana partner in our election supplies. It may be a small ink pad with a simple job, but when a thumbprint is needed, it works; when a stamp is needed, it works too. That is exactly what makes it practical.
