Does voting end once the ballot is placed in the ballot box? In Cambodia’s polling process, there is another distinctive step — finger marking. According to Cambodia’s relevant election regulations, after voters complete their ballots and place them into the ballot box, they are required to have a finger dipped in indelible ink by polling staff. Therefore, indelible election ink is an important polling-station material used to identify voters who have completed the voting process.

This time, a new customer from Cambodia cooperated with us for the first time and customized a batch of 30mL 20% Silver Nitrate Indelible Ink. Based on the usage requirements, we confirmed the bottle size, concentration, blue ink color, and packaging method to make the product more convenient for distribution and use at different polling stations. This ink comes in a 30mL white plastic bottle with a 20% silver nitrate formulation, and the ink has a clear blue color. The compact bottle is convenient to carry and allocate among polling stations, while the screw-cap design makes storage and transportation easier. During use, it can be applied with a cotton swab or designated applicator to create a clear mark on the finger or fingernail area that is not easily removed by ordinary washing. The blue color also helps polling staff observe the amount of ink applied and the marking position.
