Malaysia’s Undi18 Act came into effect on December 15, 2021. The act lowered the legal voting age from 21 to 18. After the act took effect, 5.8 million new voters were added to election activities, so Malaysia has higher requirements for voting materials. Recently, a customer from Malaysia customized a batch of 70ml indelible election ink from us. The customized ink is purple and comes with silver nitrate concentrations of 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. The ink is packed in large-capacity dropper bottles. This batch of indelible ink can be applied to voters’ fingers and remain clearly visible for more than five days without fading.

When polling station staff handle voter verification and inspection work, indelible election ink can help them quickly confirm whether a voter has already voted. Purple is also one of the common colors used for election ink. It can be applied to fingers and fingernails and is easy to recognize. Therefore, indelible election ink can be used in many voting scenarios, such as government elections and community voting. It can also be used together with other election materials, such as ballot boxes, election pens, and other election supplies.
The indelible ink produced by Ballot Expert can be customized according to customer needs. The concentration range is from 5% to 25%, and capacity options include 15ml, 25ml, 50ml, 70ml, and 120ml. The ink color can also be customized. At first, the Malaysian customer repeatedly considered which concentration and capacity of indelible ink would be more suitable. Finally, based on our recommendation, the customer customized 70ml purple silver nitrate ink in four concentrations: 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%.
