25% Silver Nitrate Indelible Ink Pen for the 2023 Zimbabwe Election

In 2023, we customized a batch of Indelible Ink Marker Pens  for our local customers in Zimbabwe based on their specific requirements. This was not our first collaboration with customers in Zimbabwe. Our previous cooperation on voting booths and other election supplies had already given us extensive experience with local election projects.

This election marker pen features a light gray plastic barrel, a black ribbed cap, and a rounded absorbent tip, making it easy for election officials to hold and use. The barrel is printed with the Zimbabwe Elections 2023 logo, "25% Silver Nitrate" labeling, illustrated instructions, manufacturing date, and batch number for easy identification and management at polling stations.

The 25% silver nitrate ink is the key feature of this election marker pen. It leaves a stain on fingernails and surrounding skin that is difficult to wash off immediately, making it suitable for voter finger marking at polling stations. This helps election officials identify voters who have already voted and reduces the risk of multiple voting. The pen-style design eliminates the need for dipping into a separate ink bottle, allowing officials to mark voters individually with ease. The barrel also includes instructions to wait 20 seconds before rubbing the mark, store the pen horizontally, and replace the cap after use. Due to the high concentration of silver nitrate, appropriate safety procedures must be followed during use.
